McCarthy Trenching aka Dan McCarthy is an artist from Omaha, Nebraska He has toured and opened for the likes of Bright Eyes, M. Ward, Victoria Williams, Jason Isbell, Mark Olson and Peter, Bjorn & John. In 2008 he released 'Calamity Drenching' on Team Love.

Neil Young is an artist that need very little explanation. For a more complete story, check out 'Neil Young Nation: A Quest, An Obsession, and a True Story' by Kevin Chong or the 2006 film 'Neil Young: Heart of Gold'. Star of Bethlehem originally appeared on his 1977 LP 'American Stars 'n Bars' which contained sessions from 1974 – 1977. Sadly, from 1980 the album remained out of print and was not reissued until 2003. The album has gone onto become one of Neil's most impressive mid career works.
